Alex Kapo is a theatre kid turned classically and jazz trained musician, turned pop/dance musician and performing artist from Toronto.

Kapo's notable recording experience includes providing vocal music for films such as The Witch and In The Tall Grass, both available on Netflix, and season two for AMC’s show The Terror.

Currently, Kapo is working on writing, producing, and recording her debut EP, to be released in the spring of 2023.

Kapo's performance experience as a vocalist and band leader ranges from small private functions, to ticketed and/or public events. 

​Kapo currently performs throughout the greater Toronto area at various venues and event halls such as Massey Hall, Roy Thomson Hall, The Rex Hotel Jazz and Blues Bar, the El Mocambo, the Four Seasons Hotel, The Carlu, the Metro Toronto Convention Centre, The Westin Harbour Castle, 3030 Dundas, Hart House, the Royal Ontario Museum, and more.

Kapo has successfully completed her studies at the University of Toronto. In achieving her Bachelor's Degree in Jazz Music Performance she has studied and performed with some of the world's greatest established, and up-and-coming, musicians such as Christine Duncan, Ryan Luchuck, Chase Sanborn, Alex Samaras, Sienna Dahlen, Mike Murley, Jim Vivian, William Carn, Chris Platt, Robin Claxton, Josh Smiley, Patrick Skrzypek, Matt Wallace, and more.
